1. Information We Collect
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash).
Uploaded content: Documents you upload to your knowledge bases are processed, chunked, and stored to power your chat widget. We do not use your content to train models.
Usage data: We collect anonymized analytics about widget interactions, including query counts and response times, to improve service quality.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Raasie service
- To process and index your uploaded documents
- To generate AI-powered responses for your website visitors
- To send service-related communications (e.g., team invites)
- To monitor usage against your plan limits
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in encrypted PostgreSQL databases with pgvector extensions. Document embeddings are stored as 512-dimension vectors. All API communication uses HTTPS, and service-to-service calls are authenticated with internal secrets.
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Authentication tokens (JWT) are stored in HttpOnly cookies and never exposed to client-side JavaScript.
4. Third-Party Services
Raasie uses third-party LLM providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) to generate responses. When a visitor asks a question, relevant document chunks are sent to your configured LLM provider along with the query. We do not share your full documents — only the retrieved chunks necessary to generate a response.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
You can delete your documents, knowledge bases, and websites at any time through the dashboard. Deleting your account removes all associated data. Conversation logs are retained for analytics purposes but can be cleared per website.
